Building Information Modelling

Building Information Modelling (BIM) changes drawing procedures and organisation - everything has to be done in a more collaborative and structured way.

This can be where the real difficulty exists. These challenges have been met within our office, with each member of the team quickly identifying the benefits of designing with Revit and commented on how smoothly they had adapted to the new way of working and the quality of the output. They also identified both the benefits and the importance of working in the right way to get these benefits. CHQ's Building Information Modelling (BIM) sector is overseen by our BIM Co-ordinator Bertie Hartley.

BIM delivers real savings in project efficiencies and processes whilst Revit is a very powerful tool for design development and producing documentation.

We have been using Revit on all our projects for the past 2 years to achieve BIM. These are some examples of our work to date.
